Description :

In the wake of numerous allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct across the voluntary sector,  the Charity Commission have made it clear that any behaviours that put beneficiaries, staff, volunteers and members of the public at risk will not be tolerated and have insisted that ALL charities undertake a through review of their safeguarding, governance and management arrangements.

With this in mind on the 22nd November the Charity Commission will be joined by sector leaders as they outline key safeguarding duties and responsibilities for all charities and present examples of safeguarding, governance and management best practice which you can benchmark against your own and implement with immediate effect within your organisation.

This interactive strategy forum will take place in Central London and already has over 150 registered attendees, as such early registration is advised.
